No reservations are required. Just meet in El Jardín opposite the iconic Parroquia Church in the center of San Miguel at 9:45 a.m. every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. For a donation of 500 pesos, the professionally-guided English-language tours start at 10 a.m. and last about 2 1/2 hours, covering a mostly-flat 10-block area. Awarded TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence — a definite 'must' for any visitor to San Miguel. Donations directly support the work of Patronato Pro Niños, now in its 55th year of providing medical and dental care to the children and teens of the neediest families in San Miguel and the outlying area.
